About the photographer
Michiel Mulder is the owner of CorsaMedia, a
specialised agency for editorial productions and
photography on a freelance basis.
In the past, he used to work as an executive
editor for two Dutch magazines about
photography: Fotografie F+D and FotoVisie. He
has a bachelor degree in communications and
marketing. His work has a wide span from web
texts and articles for car magazines to large
productions for photography magazines.
Specialised in cars
As a photograper he specialises in car and
racing photography, focussing on GT's and
classic racing. In the early ’90s most of his
weekends were spent on the Dutch circuit of
Zandvoort or the Belgian F1 circuit of Spa-
Francorchamps. During this period he started
publishing about the Spa Ferrari Days in the
American magazine about Ferrari ‘FORZA’.
Later he started working as a freelance
photographer and journalist for a Dutch
magazine about Italian cars, for the Maserati
Club Holland magazine 'Tricolore’, the website
'Driving Fun' and for Chicane magazine.
As an accredited Corse Clienti photographer he
worked for Maserati to cover the Shell Historic
Challenge. His latest work is published at the
website Zoom.nl, in FotoGRAFIE Magazine, in
FORZA magazine and in the Dutch version of
His archive contains thousands of photographs
of many rare sports cars and race cars in action
on racetracks throughout Europe. Next to this,
there are lots of static images, taken during
concourses d’élégance like Chantilly, Paleis het
